Parental involvement is an essential part of any successful high school football program. The Spartan QB Club works to lighten the load on the Skyline coaching staff and school administration as much as we can. Read more about the Spartan QB Clue here.

Media and Communications
- Sideline photographer - Sideline photography at game (field pass provided). Arrive 30 minutes before game. Use own equipment. Upload photos to Skyline Football SmugMug file share.
- Live Stream - Run the live stream from iPad (provided) at each game. Arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of game through the end of the game. Set up the equipment (tripod and iPad). Pan and zoom during live stream. Return equipment to QB Club contact following each game.
- Twitter poster - Attend all varsity games and post updates throughout on official Skyline Football Twitter account during each game.
- Class rep - Serve as liaison to player families of each respective graduating class (e.g., Senior class rep, Junior class rep, etc.). Support QB club for class-specific tasks. Help rally support and engagement for QBC and football program activities
- 5th Quarter host - 5th Quarter is the post-game parent gathering. Typically it's BYOB and an appetizer to share. Events may be hosted at a restaurant or at a home. We're looking for five (5) families who would be interested in hosting a 5th Quarter event.
- Team Dinner host - Team Dinners are for the Varsity team and take place the day before the game. We're looking for five (5) families who would host a Team Dinner. QB Club contact would help arrange food donations by parents.
- Senior Night planner - Senior Night is usually the final home game of the year where we honor the Seniors with Halftime and post-game festivities. Looming for a Junior parent who would work with the QB Club to plan the details of Senior Night.
- End-of-Season banquet planner - Each year the football program has an end-of-season banquet to celebrate the year, recognize accomplishments, present awards, etc. The Junior class is responsible for planning this each year. The volunteer position would lead a planning committee and would work closely with the QB Club and coaches.
- Sponsorship Committee - Engage with local businesses and leaders to procure sponsorship commitments. Support the design and production of the Game Day program and banners.
- Game Day program lead - Design and produce Game Day program. Receive and vet content from sponsors. Coordinate across SHS clubs. Work with printer. Produce and distribute.
- Sponsorship Banner production lead - Design and print banners. Receive and vet content from sponsors. Work with printer. Install banners at field.
- Merchandise procurement - Procure merchandise for resale in the Spirit Trailer. Maintain inventory count. Coordinate with Dir Fundraising to procure additional merch, as needed.
- Spirit Trailer - The Lead would oversee the operations of the Spirit Trailer. Recruit and oversee volunteers. Stock merchandise. Manage and remit cash. Team members would help run the Spirit Trailer for Home games.
- Passive Fundraising lead - Identify passive funding opportunities - e.g., Jersey Mikes, MOD Pizza, Chipotle, etc. Coordinate with local business. Oversee event. Work with QB Club Communications Director to get the word out.
- Announcer - Announce down, yardage, and number and name of players involved in each play (assisted by Spotter). Read prepared announcements. Home games only. Arrive 60 prior to game. Check in with Game Day Coordinator.
- Spotter - Call player name and play outcomes to aid Announcer. Home games only. Arrive 30 min prior to game. Check in with Announcer.
- Scoreboard operator - Operate scoreboard - Score, Down, Distance, Clock, Time outs. Arrive 60 prior to game. Check in with Game Day coordinator. Boot up system. Shut down system.
- Video Board operator - Run the video board each game – control visual and some audio aspects. E.g., national anthem, sound bites/videos at breaks, etc. Align on production plan in the week prior to each home game. Arrive 90 minutes prior to each home game to set up. Shut system down following game.
- Chain Gang (x3) - Operate the chains on both sidelines at each game (2 on chains; 1 of the box.). Arrive 60 minutes prior to game. Check in with Game Day coordinator. Check in with referees.
